Our Indoor, Salt-Water,
Heated Pools

A Pool Use Information Sheet

The Metrocenter Location Pool:

*13 feet deep
*92 degrees
*Salt-Water (easy on the eyes)
*25 feet wide

*Benches line the South wall for students and divers to sit down and rest.
*Over head shelves to keep personal items dry

*An indoor shower and bathroom
*Changing room for dry clothing
*Cylinders, bc's, and regulators are available for pool-use
*Rinse barrel with anti-bacterial equipment wash

 

For your safety, here are the Pool Room Rules:

1.    Please have fun and enjoy our facilities!

2.    Everyone must rinse off in the shower prior to entering the pool.

3.    Proper swimming attire is required.  No cut-offs or nudity.

4.    Students should not enter the pool until the Instructor is present.

5.    Absolutely no diving head-first into the pool.  Feet first entries only.

6.    Only certified divers may use scuba without an instructor in the pool.

7.    All At-Pacs and buoyancy compensators must be folded properly with cylinder straps placed under the shoulder straps, then rinsed.

8.    Pool regulators must have dust cap replaced, rinsed in the bucket, then placed back in the regulator rack.

9.    Please place used cylinders (with the dust cap off) on the black mat.

10.    Do not leave any cylinder standing.  Lay them down when not in use.

11.    No running in the pool room.  Decks are slippery when wet.

12.    No personal phone calls permitted unless approved by the instructor.

13.    Please pick up all trash and debris and place it in the trash cans.

14.    Pool must be covered after use.  No swimming under cover.

15.    Please leave restroom doors open after use.

16.    Please do not leave personal belongings or equipment.  We are not responsible for any items, valuables, or equipment.

17.    Please do not bring any food, candy, gum or soda into the pool room.  Bottled water is plastic containers is OK. 

18.    Please inform your instructor or a store employee about equipment problems, injury or illness.

19.    It is the instructor's responsibility to:
    a.    Make sure all regulators are rinsed, correctly stored, and returned.
    b.    make sure all bc's are rinsed, correctly stored, and returned.

    c.    Fill all cylinders prior to going home.

    d.    Cover the pool when everyone is finished.

    e.    Clean up any trash that has been created.

    f.    Mop the pool room floors and bathrooms.
