Dry Suits

Your exposure suit will make or break your dive.  Diving in a dry suit is recommended for people who get cold easily, have trouble warming up between dives, or just like to stay dry!  Every day is summer in a dry suit!

Dry suits are used in water temperatures usually lower than 75 degrees.  The cooler the water, the thicker and warmer the undergarment needs to be.  Want to see a dry suit in action?  Need media player?

A good dry suit has:

bulletA custom fit.  Stock sizes usually never fit correctly.
bulletBoots (whether you wear neoprene boots over your feet, or have the boots built into the dry suit).  Boots are available in different styles.
bulletLatex seals.  Latex are long-lasting seals for the neck and wrists.
bulletComfortable fit.  Dry suits fit more snug than wetsuits.  You need to be able to more comfortably underwater.
bulletZipper (either a self-donning or a back zip).  The zipper is the key to keeping you dry.
bulletHigh Quality.  Our dry suit company is the supplier for the military.  All suits are high quality and are available in different price ranges.
bulletCare Kit.  Standard with your dry suit includes carrying bag, lubricant for zipper and seals, and neck ring to hold the neck seal away from your neck out of the water.

Maximum protection and comfort in or out of your dry suit.

Recommended for diving in temperate climate with air temperature from 90 degrees F to 50 degrees F and water temperature from 75 degrees F to 55 degrees.

Halcyon Gator WrapsPrevent air from getting to your boots!

Gator Wraps provide dry suit divers with extra comfort, increased safety, and reduced drag by limiting airflow to your feet. Rugged Cordura construction and double Velcro Gator Closure make the Halcyon Gators as tough as they are functional. Now you can gain the same high performance advantage as leading exploration divers. From cave to wreck, technical divers will find Gator Wraps a welcome alternative to cumbersome ankle weights and bulky dry suit legs.

Available in adjustable 12-inch , 14-inch, and 16-inch calf sizes; Gator Wraps stretch to accommodate most divers. Custom wraps are available for non-standard sizes.

6cf Mounting KitDry Suit Inflation System
If your idea of a good dive includes cold water, long bottom times, or helium-based mixes, you will understand the necessity of Halcyon's dry suit inflation mounting kits. Our Octogrip Super Cam buckle system securely holds the 14cf
6cf Mounting Kit bottle to your single or double tank rig by attaching to a tank.

Halcyon’s smaller 6cf bottle mounting straps allows open water divers to secure a smaller inflation bottle directly to their Halcyon backplate.

Our compact 1st stage Over Pressure Relief Valve provides an added measure of safety to your dry suit inflation kit.

A dry suit class is included with the purchase of your dry suit.  This is a $75 value!  We will spend as much time in the pool with you to make sure you are comfortable and ready to dive with your new dry suit!  The dry suit class is a hands-on interactive class involving lecture, demonstration, and of course diving!

If you would like further information on dry suits, please stop by.  You may be able to try one in the pool to see how you like it!
