Most scuba diving equipment manufacturers only warranty their products when sold
through authorized scuba centers only, not mail-order, internet or catalog
purchases. Read the words from these manufacturers:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
AERIS has
established over 400 retailers in the United States. A complete list is
available
here. It is important that you purchase AERIS life support products from one
of our authorized retailers.
If you purchase AERIS life support products from a non-authorized dealer,
neither AERIS nor our authorized dealers are responsible to repair your products
under warranty.
When you buy AERIS life support products from an authorized dealer, you are
buying from trained professionals who can instruct you on the proper and safe
use of your equipment. You will also receive the AERIS factory warranty on your
products and access to the latest technical and upgrade information.
ONLY
products purchased from Authorized AERIS Dealers are eligible for ANY warranty
or service program coverage.
Products not purchased
from an Authorized Dealer MAY NOT be authentic, be complete, have all design and
production updates, meet our performance and quality standards, and may have
been tampered with.

SCUBAPRO UWATEC Consumer Alert!
It is very important that you purchase SCUBAPRO UWATEC
equipment from an authorized dealer only. SCUBAPRO UWATEC
has established over 700 authorized dealers in the United States (a list is
available at
www.scubapro-uwatec.com). We feel that consumers will be served best when
purchasing SCUBAPRO UWATEC life support equipment
through our authorized dealer network. These dealers can provide the proper
training and instruction on the use of SCUBAPRO UWATEC
equipment.
SCUBAPRO UWATEC offers a FREE Preferred Parts
for Life Program to all regulator owners (only offered through the purchase at
an authorized dealer) which provides replacement parts for your SCUBAPRO
Regulator, at no charge. We provide this service to help insure that your
equipment is maintained to SCUBAPRO UWATEC's high
standards. Since this equipment provides life support while under water, any
sub-standard maintenance could be dangerous. Only the dealers in our network are
authorized to perform this service and offer this program.
If you purchase your equipment outside our authorized dealer network, you
will not be eligible to participate in this program. Neither
SCUBAPRO UWATEC nor our authorized dealers will be
responsible to repair your regulator under our Preferred Parts for Life Program.
You will also not be contacted regarding post-sale notices regarding as upgrades
or warranty information.
Also if the product is purchased outside the SCUBAPRO
UWATEC dealer network in the United States, US Territories or Canada, the
consumer will have to pay the full annual service costs for parts. All
regulators purchased within the United States, US Territories or Canada, and
through SCUBAPRO UWATEC Authorized dealers, are
eligible for the FREE Preferred Parts for Life Program.
Additionally, if you have purchased a selected* UWATEC computer from an
authorized dealer you are eligible for The Batteries for Life Program. When the
batteries require replacement, simply return you computer to SCUBAPRO UWATEC. We
will calibrate the computer and replace the batteries, free of charge. (a $400
value). Purchases from unauthorized dealers, will be
required to pay full retail price for replacement and service.

CONSUMER ALERT -We have
encountered a number of consumer complaints recently about sales made through
internet auction sites and mail order outlets who ARE NOT
authorized Zeagle dealers. These have included selling incomplete products,
providing poor service, and in some cases selling items represented as being
Zeagle products which in fact were not genuine. PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE
PURCHASING FROM AN AUTHORIZED ZEAGLE DEALER!
Zeagle's warranty is issued through the Authorized Zeagle Dealer
to the original purchaser. Products not purchased directly from
Authorized Zeagle Dealers- this includes any Zeagle products
offered on internet auction sites regardless of the seller's identity- are
second hand and not covered under warranty.
Only retailers designated by Zeagle Systems as being Authorized Zeagle Dealers
are extended the authority to sell and provide warranty service for Zeagle
products.
We strongly believe customers will best be served by purchasing Zeagle life
support equipment through a local, professional Dive Store who is an authorized
Zeagle dealer and who will provide proper and safe instruction on the use of the
