Our Chartered Boat - When you charter your scuba diving trip with Scuba Sciences, we take care of all of the planning! All you need to do is pack your clothes and equipment and have fun!
It is a fully-functional floating dive facility with on-board compressors for air and SafeAir Nitrox, bunk areas for our between dive naps, and so much wonderful food it is unbelievable! Every trip is awesome! Plenty of delicious, freshly prepared food awaits! We're not talking about frozen pizza or hamburgers, but home made biscuits and gravy, made from scratch chili, barbeque chicken and much more! Our cook, Stacy, will keep your stomach full! If you have special dietary needs, please let us know when you sign up for the trip! We can make arrangements for vegetarian, vegan, or carnivore appetites! Please notify Scuba Sciences in writing one-week or more in advance!
Other boat amenities include a camera station for safe storing of your equipment, outlets for recharging camera or flashlight batteries, TV and VCR to watch movies during your surface interval, DVD player for movies, comfortable bunks with privacy curtains, and the friendliest crew around! The Sand Dollar has two heads (bathrooms) on-board. Both are equipped with toilets and showers. There are two outside showers located on the side walkway of the boat that has warm water. This is perfect for those divers who want to rinse off quickly!

Our chartered boat for our
California Dive Trips is the 
There are two different bunk
areas; one aft (rear of the boat) and one at the bow (front of the boat).
There are 9 double-occupancy bunks and 13 single-occupancy bunks. Bunks
are assigned when the trip is paid in full. All of the bunks have
blankets, pillows, and privacy curtains. The aft bunk area has a capacity
of 11 people. The bow bunk area accommodates 19 people. If you are a
light sleeper, you may want to bring some ear plugs. Sometimes divers
snore after a busy day of diving!
The boat is equipped with
a zodiac inflatable boat used to take divers to dive sites, from dive sites, and
bring tired divers back. 
The upper deck area has a
bench-style couch and benches for up to 14 people to sit comfortably! It
is designed for divers who are in wetsuits! This way we can relax and
enjoy the beautiful islands!
